After beautifying landscapes in the Washington, D.C. area for over 25 years, we are currently using our expertise to enhance the beautiful properties surrounding the rivers and bay in and around our new home base of Kilmarnock. We provide creative, eco-friendly design solutions with an emphasis on native, drought tolerant, and deer resistant plants.
Who We Are
Katherine McConnell started her landscape design business in 1995--a second career which combines her love of gardening and the outdoors with her background in engineering. In addition to her engineering degree from University of Virginia, Katherine has a Landscape Design Certification from George Washington University and is a certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP).
